Romklao Bridge
During redesign/VE of this project (twin-PT box girder), several techniques were used. One of them was to use conventional construction on scaffold for back spans (each 85m) on improved soil -base support and use of segmental CIS cantilever construction for the main span (130m over 24/7 highspeed motorway underneath). CPI work very closed with the main contractor and PT contractor to reduce the overall cost of the bridge as well save minimum 2 months construction time.
